Honeybear is hand-silkscreened t-shirt designs inspired by childhood, unicorns and other cute things. I also make pretty jewelry using vintage beads and semiprecious gems. The silkscreened designs are prints of my own original drawings and doodles, printed with water-based inks soft to the hand, which feel a millions times better than the plastic-based inks you find on most t-shirts. The jewelry is vintage-inspired and incorporates vintage beads such as 1930's Bakelite, 1950's hand-carved ivory and Japanese molded glass, as well as semiprecious gems such as ruby, quartz and amethyst. I use high-quality materials, including American Apparel/Alternative Apparel t-shirts and 14k gold-filled and sterling silver findings. I only make small quantities of both the t-shirts and jewelry, many are one-of-a-kind.

Honeybeardesigns.com was originally inspired by a poem 'My Honny Bare' that I wrote when I was 6 years old. I have been drawing and making stuff since I can remember and for the past couple years designing t-shirts and jewelry. I love history, reading about it, collecting it and using it as inspiration for my designs. In particularly growing up in the 1980's and jewelry design from the 1940's and 50's.
