The beetle-kill wood used in its creation is known for its blue-gray color, caused by a fungus carried by the beetle. The fungus creates a discoloration in the wood that is highly prized for its unique appearance, which can vary from blue-gray to streaks of brown, purple, or even pink.

The epoxy river on this board features swirls of blue, red, purple and copper, adding to its one-of-a-kind appeal. The board also includes handles and feet for easy carrying and serving. Each board is handcrafted in Northern Colorado with meticulous attention to detail.
